SHIPPING
Each piece is made to order and sent when it is ready. Here is what to expect, plainly.
1. How your order is made and sent
1.1 Every piece is produced to order after you buy — we do not hold finished stock. Your order is made and dispatched within 3–5 working days. You will receive a dispatch confirmation and tracking when it leaves.
1.2 Because each piece is made close to where it is going, your order is produced and shipped from a facility in or near your region wherever possible. This keeps delivery faster and shorter than sending every order from one place.
2. Delivery times
2.1 Total time to receive your order is the make-and-dispatch time (3–5 working days) plus the delivery time for your destination, estimated below. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and begin once your order has been dispatched.

As an example, a UK order typically arrives within roughly one to two weeks of ordering, once make-time and delivery are combined. Busy periods and seasonal demand may add a little time.
3. Shipping cost
3.1 UK delivery is free. For international orders, your delivery cost is calculated at checkout based on your destination and shown to you in full before you pay. There are no hidden delivery charges added afterwards.
4. Tracking your order
4.1 When your order is dispatched, we will email you a tracking link so you can follow it to your door. Please allow a short time after dispatch for the first tracking scan to appear.
5. International orders, duties and taxes
5.1 We ship internationally. Where an order is produced and shipped within your own region or country, it usually arrives without customs charges.
5.2 Where an order crosses a border to reach you, your country may apply import duties or taxes. These are set by your government, are outside our control, and are your responsibility. Please check with your local customs office if you are unsure before ordering.
5.3 If a parcel is refused or returned because import charges were not paid, or because the delivery address was incorrect or unclaimed, we may deduct the return costs from any refund due.
6. Delays, lost or damaged parcels
6.1 If your order has not arrived within the estimated window, contact us at hello@houseoflionheart.co.uk with your order number and we will look into it with the carrier.
6.2 If your order arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, please see our Returns Policy — you are entitled to a refund, repair or replacement, and we cover the cost in those cases.
6.3 We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our control, such as carrier disruption, customs, severe weather, or an incorrect address provided at checkout, as set out in our Terms & Conditions of Sale.
7. Delivery addresses
7.1 Please make sure your delivery address is complete and correct at checkout. We cannot be responsible for an order delivered late or to the wrong place because the address given was wrong or incomplete. If you spot a mistake, contact us immediately — we can only change an address before your order is dispatched.
